Cheering You on to Health – Meet Marisa!

One of the great things about working out at TZONE is that we are genuinely excited to help you achieve your fitness goals, and our instructors bring the know-how to help you get there! We love Marisa because she is pumped to help you take your health to the next level.

What’s your fave exercise and why?

My favorite exercise is “cheerleader” because it helps strengthen my lats and helps me build strength in the stability of my shoulders (which is helpful when planking)! 

What’s one thing that you are most proud of in your career?

That I get to be a part of many different people’s lives and help them on their path to becoming a higher version of themselves. I love meeting new people and being able to hold a spot in their life as someone who will push them to reach their highest potential. 

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

In my free time I enjoy reading books on nutrition, meditation, and neuroscience. I also like to spend time with loved ones and go on spontaneous adventures in nature. 

What made you want to become a Pilates instructor?

I fell in love with the mind + body connection and low impact moves. Only after a few weeks, I saw major differences in my body. I love that it’s a workout that is sustainable over a lifetime; it doesn’t wear and tear your bod, instead it lengthens, heals, and empowers you.
